Michael Dobson
Michael Dobson is a third generation Floridian and is the Founder, President and CEO of Florida Renewable Energy Producers Association, “Florida’s voice of renewable energy”. He founded the association along with his longtime business partner Cynthia Craig whereby they share Dobson, Craig and Associates a Tallahassee Florida based governmental relations, association management and political consulting firm. Michael is no stranger to renewable energy. It is the family business. He is not only a renewable energy policy analysis, governmental relations expert and advocate, he is also engaged in renewable project development through the families renewable energy project company which does business on both the east and west coast of the United States. Michael has been instrumental in promoting an RPS mandate, a clean energy fund and other key policies in Florida. He has given policy presentations and testimony before Florida’s Public Service Commission, the Florida Senate, the Florida House of Representatives and Florida’s Energy Commission.
