Panel: Effective Actions for Addressing Climate Change
This panel comprised of representatives from businesses and community organizations will focus on innovative and collaborative methods to address climate change. As businesses learn to survive in a complex economy they will need to consider how their operations, products, and services can minimize greenhouse gas emissions and create opportunities for climate mitigation. One effect method to be explored in-depth is collaboration with non-profit organizations and state and local governments. Businesses that develop partnerships with governments and NGOs will have more reliance in a changing climate.
