Blake Walker, Director, Research & Strategy, oversees all macro-economic and market specific research for The Green Cities Company and guides the firm’s overall strategies and investment decisions with data and research-driven insights.
Prior to joining Green Cities, Blake was the Head of Strategic Investment Research at AIG Global Real Estate, an Assistant Portfolio Manager for SunAmerica Affordable Housing Partners, and served as a Vice President focused on private equity real estate secondaries investing at Liquid Realty Partners. Blake began his career in multifamily acquisitions at Jackson Square Properties.
Blake holds a BA in Economics from Duke University, and a MF from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.
Blake is a sports and outdoor enthusiast who particularly enjoys golf, baseball, football, mountain biking and backpacking as well as coaching his son’s baseball teams. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two boys.
